Thank you for taking the time to learn more
about L.A.B. You may recognize the business name from our advertisements or seeing
our equipment around Southern New Hampshire. If not, we would like to
introduce ourselves and take a small amount of your time to explain who
we are and where we came from.
L.A.B stands for Lakeside at Bernie's. Bernie was Tammy's father
and we named our home on Franklin Pierce Lake after him. When we
originally bought our home in 1998, we also purchased an old Bobcat
loader to develop our landscaping. That machine lasted a year and now we
are running a much newer loader and just recently added a mini
excavator. After a few years of running the machines on our property and
for friends and family, we decided it would be a good idea to advertise
and possibly have the Bobcat earn its own monthly payments. For the
first few years, we were out weekends, holidays, vacation days and some
nights helping homeowners and contractors in the surrounding communities
with their landscape and construction needs. On May 1st of 2005, we
retired from our Software Engineering career to take the business full
time and the future continues to look strong. Our goal is to expand the
business so that our three kids will be able to join us as we continue
to grow and serve the community now and into the future.

We find it a pure joy to wake up every
morning and head out to do something we love.
One of the biggest joys of serving a community is to see the
satisfaction and approval in the faces of your clients when the job has
been completed and it meets or exceeds their expectations.
So, if you have an outdoor project planned, please give us a call and
see what we have to offer. Estimates are free and we just plain
enjoy getting out and meeting new people and talking about landscaping
or construction site work.
We are looking forward to hearing
from you and possibly working together on a project that will make a
difference on your property.
Passion:
Coming onto your site and working hard in all kinds of weather and
conditions is the type of work that we have chosen to do because, we are
passionate about our profession. Every project is completed as if it
were our own. It is the passion we show for the task that makes our
customers trust us, enjoy having us on site and ask us back as well as
recommend us to their friends and family. If it were not for the
passion, we would have never gotten this far.

Communication :
Are we doing the work for the customer or ourselves? The customer of
course… To be successful, the customer has to be very happy with the end
product. The only way to make this happen is to understand completely
what is desired and continue to work closely with the client to see to
it that the expectations are met. We are very big on speaking with you
before, during and after the project to make sure what we deliver is top
notch and something you will be bragging about for years to come.
Integrity:
Webster's defines Integrity as:
1. Steadfast adherence to a strict moral or ethical code.
2. The state of being unimpaired; soundness.
3. The quality or condition of being whole or undivided; completeness.
L.A.B defines integrity as:
1. Not defining the price of a job by the perceived financial stature of
the prospective client.
2. Giving exactly or more than what was agreed upon.
3. Making sure that the end result is going to be appreciated and last
for a long time to come.
Respect:
Engaging in an activity with a client is much more than doing a job for
the money. We take into consideration that you and your neighbors will
be affected by our presence. Whether it's how early in the morning we
start making noise, keeping our equipment out of the way and maintaining
a presentable site at all times, we are committed to making your
experience with L.A.B as pleasant and unobtrusive as possible.
Dedication:
You can count on L.A.B to show up when we say we will and stay until the
job is completed to your satisfaction. If the project is not going as
you had envisioned, we are easily persuaded to make adjustments as
necessary to ensure that what you pay for is something you will value
and be completely satisfied with, now and into the future.
Experience:
With 6 years of earth processing experience (17 years as a professional)
behind us, we are prepared to serve you and the community to the best of
our ability. Why not give us a call or send us an email. Even if we
don't do business together, we will enjoy meeting and speaking with you
about your project ideas.
